Growing in the spirit of God
as each new day arrives
makes life worth living its fullest
as long as I survive

I pray for guidance of His will
and strength from which I draw
to oppose the evil of sin
that causes me to fall

the hunger for the knowledge of God
is a life’s ambition
therefore I place my trust in Him
with a total submission

in seeking out the face of God
I must draw on my faith
to love Him with all my heart
in prayer there is no haste

I am an agent of the Lord
to represent His name
my life is governed by His will
my faith I then proclaim

praising the name of Jesus Christ
through Whom we all must go
I found the answer for my life
the world should seek to know

the grace of God is ever near
for those who seek to live
with peace of mind and harmony
that only Christ can give
